A shelter booking at the Acacia Shelter at Lizard Log or the Bung Shelter at Bungarribee Park is essential if would like to bring any structures or are to engage a service provider for your function at Western Sydney Parklands (additional fees apply).

These additional items need to be approved by the Trust before you can bring them to a booking. There is also an inclusion fee of $80 per item. To arrange this, please read our Entertainment and Inclusions Policy and then complete our Inclusion Application Form.
The location of Acacia Shelter can be found in our Lizard Log Park Map and Bung Shelter in our Bungarribee Park Map. Refer to our fee schedule for the current hire prices.

When a shelter has already been hired or is not available, an X will appear under the date. Please select another shelter or date for your booking.
The period you have selected is not open for bookings. Bookings can be made a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 31 days from today.

Yes all bookings are required to be paid in full with a valid credit card at the time of the booking. No other payment methods are available.
We will place a reservation sign at the hired shelter so that other park users are aware that the shelter has been booked. Our ranger team manages bookings and will be able to assist if there are any issues.
You are able to decorate the shelter with streamers, balloons (not helium), signs and similar decorations. All decorations must be attached with string or streamers and must be fully removed after your booking. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions of Hire for more information.
Once you have a confirmed booking, you can only change the booking details (eg. date, arrival time) but not the area or shelter hired. To alter your booking, you will need to email your request to [email protected] quoting your booking number, area and date. Fees may apply and a minimum of 7 days notice is required. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions of Hire for more information.
You are not able to change the shelter or area you have hired once your booking has been confirmed. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions of Hire for more information.
We will ensure that the area is still available for you, we do not offer any refunds or postponements if you to chose to cancel on the day of your booking.

The electric BBQs located in the Parks are for shared-use and do not form a part of a shelter booking.
BYO gas barbecues are allowed (except on fire-ban days).
No Charcoal or Heat Bead's BBQ's are permitted within the Parklands at Plough and Harrow.
BYO charcoal barbecues can be used at Lizard Log and Bungarribee in designated areas. Place your barbecues on the marked concrete platform and dispose of heat beads and coal waste in the coal bin. (Not allowed on fire-ban days).
