Important Before you head out for your ride, check out the Wylde home page . This will provide up-to-date information on track open or close status as well as advice on current and scheduled maintenance work.
For your own safety, please do not use the Wylde mountain bike trails if the website says the trails are closed. The BMX track may also be closed at times for events and club meets, and the pump track may be closed at times for maintenance and repairs. Please check the website for the open or close status before heading to Wylde.
Science in the Scrub is a free family event as part of National Science Week hosted by Western Sydney Parklands Trust.
The picnic shelters are currently not available to book.
Access to Wylde is via Range Road, off Elizabeth Drive, Cecil Park.
The new Wylde facility is the largest biking hub in Australia, combining mountain biking and BMX. The new Wylde mountain bike trails follow a similar design to the original trails with some improved features, including a larger pump and jump track, many new trails and features, and a number of multiple-choice junctions for riders to choose a new adventure with each visit.
Bicycle NSW, Dirtz Track, the original Wylde designers, and the mountain biking community have helped shape the final designs.
Yes, Wylde is free of charge to visit and ride.
The Western Sydney BMX Club will activate the Wylde BMX track every Tuesday & Saturday , starting from Saturday 17 September, during the following times:
7am - 2pm on Saturdays
4:30pm - 8:30pm on Tuesdays
Wylde BMX will not be accessible to the general public during the above weekly session times, unless authorised by Western Sydney BMX Club.

Wylde has a approximately 15km of trails to explore. Many of them are ‘choose your own adventure’ so you can make them as long or short as you like.
The shortest trail is the Junior Loop, a 1.3km loop that starts and finishes at the trail head. It is a self-contained loop designed for young riders to hone their skills before taking on the bigger track network.
The longest continuous trail is up to you depending on which adventure you choose. A full circuit of the mountain bike trails is approximately 15km beginning at ‘Start Your Engines’ followed by Upper Link, Exile, Hidden Valley, Smiles Link, Smiles for Miles, Roly Poly Valley, Lower Link and finishing with Home Run.
Wylde caters for all experience levels with a mix of trails for beginners, intermediate riders, and expert riders. Please check the signs at the trail head before heading off.
Riders under 16 years old should only ride the Trail in the company of an adult.
Wylde is open from sunrise to sunset. This includes the mountain bike trails, BMX track and pump track.
Wylde has a dedicated car park offering free parking. Turn left off Range Road on to the Wylde Access Road. Parking is located to the right of the Wylde main entrance gates.
Yes, e-bikes are permitted on the mountain bike trails. As always, please respect the trail and your fellow riders.
Yes, the bike-washing station is located near the picnic shelter at the pump track.
The mountain bike trails are constructed on a natural clay base. The trail may be closed during and following wet weather to allow the clay tracks to dry out. Please check the status on the Wylde home page before heading out.
From time to time, some trails will be closed for maintenance. Please check the Wylde home page before heading out or join the Wylde Facebook Group for regular updates.
There are no food and drink outlets on site. BBQ facilities are located at the picnic shelters near the pump track.
Yes, the pump track is an all-weather track. The BMX track has regular bookings by the Western Sydney BMX Club. Please check our website before heading out.
