Spot that waterbug

Ever wonder what waterbugs get up to on a weekend? Well, come down to Nurragingy Reserve during Sydney's Biggest Backyard On Show and find out for yourself.

Waterbugs can tell us a lot about the health of our waterways. Join Western Sydney Parkland and environmental experts from Blacktown City Council as we go sampling along Eastern Creek in Nurragingy Reserve to catch some bugs. We’ll download a simple smartphone app to tell us what bugs we’ve found and also learn more about them from the experts.
