Summer Guide to Western Sydney Parklands

Western Sydney Parklands is bursting with fun summer activities for the young and the young at heart! Here are our favourite places to play and stay cool this season.

Free water play 

Beat the heat and take the kids for a splash with free water play in our Western Sydney Parklands playgrounds. 

Lizard Log is fun for all ages with a mix of water activities and creative play including sand pits, flying foxes, giant swings, climbing wall, balance beams and a great loop for scooters and bikes. 

Plough and Harrow East is also a free all-ages playground that features water play, climbing equipment plus more technologically driven play equipment where kids and adults can play together and bring out their competitive spirits! 

Nurragingy Reserve is a beautiful picnic and playground area tucked into the bushland off Knox Road, Doonside. The playground has a range of water play features including fountains and waterfalls. 

Wet 'n' Wild Sydney 

From thrilling water slides to chilled out attractions like Boomerang Bay, there's something for everyone at Wet'n'Wild Sydney.

Highlights include:

• Nickelodeon Beach – a beach designed for kids that features kid-friendly water slides, a giant tipping bucket, watersprays and plenty of shade.

• The Beach - Australia’s largest wave pool with over 6,800,000 litres of water.

• The Surf Deck – a popular continuous wave attraction suited for beginner to advanced surfers.
