To celebrate Seniors Week this year, Western Sydney Parklands hosted a free Seniors Nature Walk and Morning Tea on Wednesday 24 March.
Participants in the nature walk were able to move at an easy pace, following trails through high quality bushland and got to know the large variety of bird, plant and animal life that call the Parklands their home.
The walk was followed by a delicious morning tea served in the picnic shelters in Plough & Harrow Picnic Ground. Ninos Khoshaba MP, State Member for Smithfield attended the morning tea and was in great demand to chat with the senior visitors who travelled from as far as Campbelltown and Northmead.
